Transforming the lives of people affected by the world’s most common inherited blood disorder is within our reach.

WHAT IF WE COULD RADICALLY CHANGE THE LIVES OF MILLIONS OF PATIENTS WITH SICKLE CELL DISEASE?

The REVE project (REVolutionner la DrépanocytosE) aims to develop a healthcare model that is better coordinated, more practical and more focused on patients.

Sickle cell disease is still under-diagnosed and not always properly understood or managed. REVE therefore works on care, research, innovation and training at the same time. It brings together doctors, researchers, industry partners and patient organisations so that progress can reach patients more quickly.

At the heard of REVE: innovative and practical solutions

    • smart digital tools for real-time patient monitoring,
    • cutting-edge technologies to anticipate complications,
    • expert support to speed up clinical trials,
    • and a training platform to disseminate knowledge on a large scale.

The impact is significant: better prevention, better treatment, and a better quality of life with the condition. REVE aims to reduce mortality, improve quality of life and make healthcare systems more efficient and equitable.

REVE is a long-term international programme intended to improve the lives of people with sickle cell disease.
